Taqueria El Sazon

"My brother and sister-in-law have been talking up the tacos at El Sazon for the past couple of years but this was my first time at the restaurant and it did actually live up to the hype. I ordered a cecina taco and two deshebrada tacos dorados. I like their tortillas a lot and the steak tasted great too. There's is an interesting and different take on the taco dorado. Their shredded meat is extra juicy but has a more beefy flavor than anything else. Although I usually prefer a little tomato or chile flavor to deshebrada I do have to admit that they were still really good and the tortillas were fried into perfect crispy shells. The salsas were also all really good. They serve Modelos in ice cold mugs and my sister-in-law says their margaritas are pretty good too. I thought maybe we were just getting special treatment from the staff because my brother's family were regulars but l noticed them being extra friendly with everyone who came in which was nice to see. They have a decent sized dining room and our group of 6 which included a baby in a car seat were able to sit comfortably in a booth they have with an extended table. If you're looking for good tacos in Batavia then you should definitely stop into El Sazon."

"The service was outstanding. I love their attention to detail. My Modelo came with a tajin rimmed frosted mug with lime without my asking I had the steak tacos and they were delicious."

"Attention Batavia, Illinois! PLEASE ! Come to Taqueria Rl Sazon! I had their delicious Burrito Pastor that came with lettuce cheese beans tomato avocado and cream. The burrito was very authentic and packed I enjoyed every bite. Along with their salsa's! WOW!! Better than store brand. Also their home made crispy fries were very delicious crispy man oh man I enjoyed every bite. Despite it being very busy the waitress was able to take our order and give us our food in no time. I was astounded in how fast the food came out despite their restaurant being packed with people every table was taken. Thank you so much for your service and delicious mouth watering food it really satisfied our hunger. We will definitely come back to try out your other items."

"Small little restaurant in downtown Batavia. Always very delicious food. We usually get the chicken enchiladas and burrito- so delicious. Only reason I gave the "atmosphere" part of this review only three stars is that the place does need remodeling and just an overhaul of the interior. Otherwise great food and very nice service."
